Sourced from an ancient inland basin in remote Western Australia, this naturally formed salt has been protected from modern environmental influence. Because Ancient Basin Salt is unrefined, it naturally contains trace minerals like potassium, magnesium, calcium + more.
While salt is still primarily sodium and these other minerals are in trace amounts, this signals how the salt was sourced and processed and not artificially rebuilt after the fact.

What can I say....this salt is amazing!! I love the taste and knowing it is pure salt with no refining or additives makes a big difference.
I have replaced my normal cooking and table salt with the Ancient Basin Salt and as it is does seem a stronger taste, I don't need as much as I would with other salts.
